Benefits of the CleanSpace HALO Full Face Respirators

In some environments, full face respirators are a more suitable choice than other types of respirator masks. This can include environments where eye protection is needed, where showering is a requirement, and for extended use in areas that require high levels of protection such as laboratories, emergency/disaster zones, primary healthcare facilities and areas used for animal research.

The CleanSpace HALO System

The CleanSpace HALO system has been designed and developed by biomedical engineers. Lightweight, reliable and IP rated 66 Water Tolerant, the CleanSpace HALO Power System CS3000 is a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) created for clinical and high protection settings.

The CleanSpace HALO Full Face Mask CS3006 & CS3007

Compatible with the CleanSpace HALO Power System CS3000, the CleanSpace HALO Full Face Mask CS3006 & CS3007 offers significant panoramic vision and remain comfortable for long periods of use. This is achieved through the visor seal’s silicone design, hard-scratch and solvent resistant coating and fully adjustable design to suit all face shapes and sizes.

Typically, one of the primary drawbacks to using a full face respirator mask is the risk of fogging and difficulties verbally communicating. However, designed with these considerations in mind, the CleanSpace HALO Full Face Mask promotes a positive pressure airflow and contains an inner Orinasal mask to prevent the respirator mask from fogging, and a Mylar speech diaphragm for enhanced, clear communication.

The CleanSpace HALO Full Face Mask complies with the following standards:

  • AS / NZS1716: 2012
  • IEC 60529 IP-66
  • EN12942
  • AS / NZS 1337.1:2010 High Impact Resistance.

As the CleanSpace HALO system is an air-filtering, fan-assisted positive pressure mask, it should not be used in IDLH atmospheres or Oxygen enriched environments, and only in situations where there is a sufficient level of oxygen to breathe safely.
